Motorized & Retractable Screens

Outdoor Motorized and Retractable Screen Installation for Your Home or Business

Outdoor motorized and retractable screens are the simplest way to make a porch, patio, garage space, or outdoor kitchen work year-round. With the push of a button, your motorized screens roll down to block insects, cut UV glare, and shield your furniture from rain and pollen. Push the button again, and they roll back up out of sight. With retractable screens, you can simply glide them out of sight when you don’t want them, then pull them back into view when you do.

Homeowners across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee love them for backyard porches and screened-in patios. In our lake and mountain communities, they open up the view without battling the gnats. In our cities and suburbs, they’re a popular upgrade for covered decks and three-season rooms.

The point is simple: you decide when the outdoors comes in.

Why Aaron Outdoor Lifestyle

Why Homeowners Partner with Aaron Outdoor Lifestyle

We’re an outdoor lifestyle company, not a general contractor who happens to sell screens. That means we know how a motorized screen is supposed to run on a humid Georgia summer night and how it needs to be mounted on a lake home that catches real wind off the water. We’ve installed screens on new construction, historic homes, lake houses, and mountain cabins across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Our team is licensed and insured, and we treat your home the way we’d treat our own. You’ll work with people who actually know the product, from the first measurement through final testing.

We work with top-rated screen systems such as Phantom Screens, Fenetex Screens, and Activwall to tailor each install to your space, your view, and how you actually use the area. Every screen is sized, measured, and installed to fit your opening cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do motorized retractable screens work?

Motorized screens roll down from a housing mounted at the top of your opening. A small motor built into the housing lowers and raises the screen using a remote, wall switch, or smart home app. When the screen is up, the housing is barely noticeable. When it’s down, you get a tight, clean screen across the whole opening.

Can retractable screens handle wind and rain?

Yes, when you pick the right system. We offer wind-rated screens built for lake and mountain homes that see real weather. These screens lock into side tracks and can stay down in strong gusts. For light rain, the screens act like a windbreak and keep most of the moisture out of your space. We’ll help you choose the right mesh for your space.

Will the screens block my view?

Not meaningfully. The mesh is designed to let you see through from the inside while cutting glare, bugs, and UV. From a few feet away, you’ll barely notice it’s there. When you want the view completely unobstructed, just roll the screens back up.

Can I control the screens with my phone or smart home system?

In most cases, yes. Our motorized screens can be set up with remote controls, wall switches, timers, wind sensors, sun sensors, and smart home integration. We’ll walk through the control options during your consultation.

Do you install screens on existing porches, or only new builds?

Both. We retrofit screens onto existing porches, patios, and decks all the time. We also work with builders and designers on new outdoor living projects from the ground up.

How much do Phantom retractable screens cost?

Retractable Phantom door screens start at $950 installed with our current special, and Phantom motorized screens start at $4,500 installed. See our pricing page for the full list, or contact us for a custom quote.

How long does installation take?

Most residential installs take one day. We mount the housings, run the wiring for motorized units, program the remotes or smart home controls, and test everything before we leave.

Are you an authorized Phantom and Fenetex dealer?

Yes. Aaron Outdoor Lifestyle is an authorized Phantom and Fenetex screen dealer, installing both brands for homes and businesses across our service area.

What areas do you serve?

We install motorized and retractable screens across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
